The journey has finally begun!

After working with three contractors, getting three extensions and taking almost three months, we finally signed the papers for our little schoolhouse project.  Curtis and I thought it would be fun to document this project through a blog so our friends, family and other schoolhouse fans can watch the transformation of the 1927 Espanola School and then Espanola Grange as it becomes the Headrick Homestead.  We are still looking for a good name.  If you have any suggestions please let us know.  First step will be to take some before photos and a pre-demolition open house.  The plans are in the works.  Check back soon for an update.
